HOW I HELP

Let me walk this road with you — from the first tour to move-in day.

For more than ten years, I've helped Permian Basin families find the right community for a parent — from independent living all the way to memory care. I tour, I compare, and I help you choose, with guidance that is always free and independent. No pressure, no scripts — just a neighbor who knows these communities and cares how this turns out for your family.

Is this you?

This page is for you if…

  • Your mom or dad can't safely live alone anymore, and every online search leaves you more overwhelmed than when you started.
  • The hospital or doctor has said it's time for more care, and the clock feels like it's ticking.
  • You live hours away and need someone local you can trust to be your eyes and ears here in the Basin.
  • You're weighing independent living, assisted living, or memory care — and honestly aren't sure which one fits.
  • You want straight answers from someone who isn't trying to sell you anything.

How I work

Step by step, side by side.

01

I listen first

Before we look at a single community, we talk. About your parent's health, their personality, what their days look like, what they can afford, and what would make a place feel like home. The right answer starts with knowing who this is for.

02

We shortlist and tour together

I know the communities across West Texas and Southeastern New Mexico. I narrow the field to a handful worth your time, set up the visits, and walk through the doors with you — asking the questions families don't always know to ask.

03

We compare honestly

I'll lay out the pluses and minuses of each place in plain words. I guide; I never sell. The decision stays yours from start to finish — and if none of them feel right, we keep looking.

04

You settle in, and I stay close

After move-in, I follow up. If something isn't working, we talk about it and adjust. A placement isn't finished the day the boxes are unpacked — it's finished when your parent is truly settled.

What's included

What you can count on.

  • A real conversation about your parent's needs, personality, and finances — before anyone mentions a facility name
  • A shortlist of communities matched to your family: independent living, assisted living, memory care, or nursing care
  • Tours arranged and attended together, with me beside you asking the hard questions
  • A plain-spoken, side-by-side comparison of your options — guidance, never a sales pitch
  • Help coordinating the details of the move once you've chosen
  • Follow-up after move-in to make sure the fit is real
  • Honest pointers to qualified legal or financial help when your questions go beyond what I should answer

Free & independent — always.

My guidance costs your family nothing and answers only to your family's best interest. I'm Kendall Warren, BCPA · CSA — a neighbor, not a call center, serving the Permian Basin, West Texas & Southeastern New Mexico.

Yours to keep

Not ready to talk with anyone yet? That's more than okay. The free Guide is where I keep the bigger library — the checklists, the assessments, the local directory. Start there, take your time, and call me when it helps.

Honest answers

Questions families ask me.

Is placement help really free?

Yes — completely free to your family, and Senior Source Guide doesn't accept referral fees or commissions from any community. Our family helped West Texas families find the right community, free, for ten years before anyone called it a business. My guidance through Senior Source Guide is a free community service, and you are always free to choose anyone, any community, at any time.

How fast can this move?

As fast as your situation demands. Some families call me from a hospital hallway with a discharge date days away, and we move quickly. Others are planning well ahead, and we take it slow and thorough. Either way, we go at the pace that's right for your parent — not a pace anyone else sets.

What if we're not sure whether we need home care or a community?

Then you're exactly where most families start. We'll talk honestly about both paths — what staying home would take, and what a community would offer. If home care is the right answer, I'll tell you so and help you find good help for that instead. Sometimes the right place is the home they already love.

Whenever you're ready — or even if you're just not sure yet — I'm here. Call me at (432) 901-6465, and we'll figure out the next right step together.
